VISIT RESPONSIBLY

Tips for visiting responsibly

Reconsider your car – Consider carpooling. Parking is limited and fills up quickly on our busy days. It will save on gas and emissions too.

Stick within the boundaries - We have a lot of themed areas in our woods that are clearly marked by boundary lines. Staying within those boundaries reduces your impact on wildlife and the environment.

Listen to your Adventure Guide - They know what they are talking about and know our forests well. They will help to keep you from injury and mishaps that might lead you to a hospital visit.

Tap into tap water – Nothing ruins a beautiful, wooded forest quicker than a plastic water bottle. Pack and use your refillable water bottle.

Don’t disturb the wildlife – Wildlife are just that, wild. Let them do their thing and you do yours.

Put garbage where it belongs – The garbage you produce needs to go in the proper garbage bin. Litter doesn’t belong in our woods.

Support local businesses - Whenever possible eat locally, shop locally and stay locally.

Respect our communities- Be aware of the local community and respect the local customs.
