SUSTAINABILITY PLEDGE

Our Pledge

The Adventure Begins with Sustainability and Ends with Fun For the Whole Family

Wasaga Beach Adventure Park was first created by Steve and Donna Langman in 1992, just under the water tower in Wasaga Beach. It has since moved to 3600 Vigo Road on 70 acres of land. The distinctive terrain on the property is home to 14 playing fields, which we use for all types of action-packed outdoor adventures.

Wasaga Beach Adventure Park is dedicated to providing the town with fun and adventure for tourists and townspeople alike, all while operating using sustainable measures. Here at WBPA, we care deeply about the land we operate on because, without it, we would not be able to provide the unique experience to our customers that we strive for.

WBAP’s Sustainable Tourism 2030 Pledge

-address the needs of visitors, the tourism industry, the environment, and the surrounding communities.

-take into full account the park’s environmental impact. This will be done by thinking of new ways each year over the next five years to reduce the negative impact and increase the positive impact our park has on the environment.

WBAP’s Recent Initiatives to Help Improve Sustainability at our Park

-even though waste disposal service does not recycle our recyclable waste, we will sort it ourselves and take it to a scrap metal facility to be reused.

-reduce waste from plastic bottles by filling up personal reusable water bottles for our customers

-we planted 200 trees this year in 2025 and plan to plant another 200 over the next five years.

-we take the time each day to walk through our land and ensure all the garbage is picked up and disposed of properly.

-maintain our 70 acres of forested land to prevent infections and invasive species.

-each and every year, we organize fundraisers for local food banks and charities abroad in the Dominican Republic.

-if something can be used again, we reuse it.

-to reduce our waste production, we have switched our waivers and booking service to an online format.
