ShadowFront has been quiet - but not peaceful. The Shadow Alliance has tightened its hold on the territories they protect, expanding their hidden operations and advancing new technology behind closed doors. Their silence isn't weakness...it's preparation.
But their secrecy didn't go unnoticed.
From the northern frontier, Aurora Command arrived in ShadowFront - a disciplined, battle-forged force determined to challenge the Alliance's rising influence. They came ready for conflict, ready to expose whatever the shadows have been building.
That's when everything changed.
During a routine patrol, Alliance soldiers found a collapsed cavern along the ridge - the ground torn open from last year's fighting. Inside, buried under rock and dust, was a massive shape they couldn't identify...until they saw the chest rise.
It was the Beast.
Locked in a deep, unnatural sleep, its body torn apart and drained from the was it barely survived. It looked like something had forced it into shutdown - but everyone knew exactly what it was still capable of.
The Alliance deployed their newest experimental mind-control device, convinced it would wake the creature and bind it to their command.
The activated it.
The cavern shook.
Dust fell.
The Beast opened its eyes...
...and the device failed instantly.
No reaction.
No obedience.
No hesitation.
The Beast stood up and walked straight past eh Alliance soldiers. And ever one of them knew - if they drew fire, flinched, or tried anything clever - that could be their end right there. Worse, they had no idea what their failed tech might have done to it.
What did it change?
What could it have triggered?
Because in seconds, the creature went from barely holding together...to revived, sharpened, and moving like something rebuilt for war.
Now the Alliance and Aurora Command are heading straight into open conflict.
